I’m using my wife’s account. They do a great job helping with my ODSP appeals. Jim kept me updated throughout the process and answered any questions I had, he also helped me get ready for the tribunal meeting. I’d recommend them to anyone in need of help with ODSP appeals. Lucas Draker
Phoned to ask if they help with lawsuits as I am only on disability. I was promptly told that legal aid does not handle lawsuits, which, alright fine. But when I asked what else I could do the lady I spoke with refused to offer even one iota of help, simply stating they do not do lawyer referrals (also not true based off of their website), which is not what I was requesting, and then the call was ended. I am on ODSp and have had trouble since I moved to London, so called this legal aid a month ago, as I was told I can’t keep using the one in Toronto, which sucks. It’s been a month and no one ever called back. So different than Toronto, where you get a call back the next day.
I'm on a fixed income (wsib) and I have rrsps. But I contributed $0 to that rrsp and can't access $1 of that rrsp but my ex who has illegally withheld access to my 11 year old daughter, her mother actually makes more than me and is on Ontario Works and guess what she gets approved by Legal Aid but I do not. I can't afford to hire an attorney, so I'm left trying to do it myself. It's incredibly frustrating and confusing. Serving my ex was next to impossible.
