As a survivor of almost 10 years of spousal abuse I reached out to this organization in desperate need of help from my ex husband who filed a false PFA on me after verbally and physically abusing myself and my children, tried to take my children and my parental rights, and who tried to take me to court for child support. These people had the audacity to send me a closing letter 8 months into me holding my ground to stay housed against a retaliatory landlord. If I was able to manage that as an untrained individual what was really their excuse for the lack of help they provided. I was even told they “couldn’t force” the landlord to rent to me. They gave every reason why they couldn’t help. They literally could care less and it’s a shame because it’s such a sensitive issue. Horrible practice! Waste of time. These people do not care about helping anyone and will tell you anything to not help you. They don’t care about anything you are going through. They come up with lame explanations and they don’t actively listen to what you are asking them. They pass your case from person to person and the do not actually take the time to review laws or solutions to help you. Don’t waste your time. Get real consulting from a real lawyer .
