Please don't waste your time with the NC Bar, there is no low cost lawyer help they charge a consultation fee and they can't help you, because you can't afford their fees. I feel so disappointed I have no words I just waisted money. At this point their just racking up on the consultation fee, they know most people referred by NC Bar is not going to be able to afford their services.

don't know why they bother to publish a phone number since no one ever answers the phone. a total wate of time.
I agree with others when they say they are being mistreated by the attorneys and call center. My case has been open since June 2024 however it keeps getting extended due to my "lawyer" not representing me correctly. I'm suing my apartment complex due to unlivable conditions. The issue could have been handled last year but the lawyer assigned to my case keeps ghosting me and/providing false information. It's almost like they don't want you to win or perhaps do not care.
