Terribly rude and hateful, refuse to listen whilst talking over you and cutting you off. They refuse to ask their attorneys your questions. The intake coordinators are absolutely cruel when you’re in a major life crises and fighting for your very life.
So hateful and cruel when people are at their most desperate. Everyone says, “Call Legal Aid” not realizing they refuse to help. Might as well close your doors. That would be more beneficial so all the other agencies would be forced to offer support rather than direct you to a service that is emotionally abusive.
This organization is absolutely horrible. They do not support victims and they’re not looking for justice. They actually support the domestic abuser and the sex offender before helping the victim. My child was kidnapped by a sex offender almost 4 years ago. This organization has chosen to help the sex offender claim to be a domestic violence, victim, and use resources of the city and the state to defend kidnapping.
