I experienced severe discrimination at this location. The staff appeared to screen clients based on their ethnicity, name, and country of origin rather than offering equal help. They showed clear bias against individuals from Central Asia, and their operation feels completely dishonest.
They provide false help for some of the most go through a list of resources that you already called and to tell you to go find a lawyer. Waste of time, especially considering that the people that are contacting them are very vulnerable positions I would suggest just calling a lawyer before you call them.
Legal aid Santa Monica has been invaluable in saving my family's housing situation. Forever grateful.
They were very helpful and empathetic when I came in to ask for help.
