If I could give negative stars I would. I got stuck with Ashna Harjai as my duty counsel she literally did nothing to help me or my case. She told me I had to pay a fine and plead guilty to my case, I contacted student legal services Edmonton and they got my case thrown out I highly recommend them as they knew more about the legal system then she did . If you have this women represent you ask for someone different.
Was told repeatedly wait for papers that where never served to me then told I should have applied right away as if I didn't attempt everyday for a month now my case has gone past I was convicted as I didn't say my side so judge took as evidence of guilt and even now they say I should have tried to apply but I won't be able to apply without the court papers I was never served Update: was told to just plea guilty because even if I can prove my ex lied to have me charged women don't lie about serious things like assault and it'... read more
