Update: After trying to get Legacy Tax & Trust Lawyers firm to rethink their strategy of trying to get me to pay 5 ½ times the estimate given to me to probate a Will by one of the partners, the law firm decided to file a Small Claims against me for a breach of contract in BC. Nick Smith promised to deleiver a series of documents for an agreed upon price. Nick has refused to provide those documents unless he gets paid. Current invoice is six times what was promised. Don't use this firm.

This firm conducts business in an unethical and unprofessional manner. I was quoted one price for a service and was later presented with a Final Bill that was five and a half (5 ½) times the amount of the original quote. My Letter of Engagement required that I would be rendered monthly bills and that I would be requested by the firm to replenish my retainer (5K) as it became exhausted. This never occurred.
