We’re spending approximately $70k per year for my father to live here. Since the Pruitt Place takeover the experience has just gone down hill. It started with poor internet so now my dad can’t even watch baseball with no options provided, followed up by things constantly disappearing from his room, to now him having an injury with an infection so bad he may have to have IV antibiotics. I currently work at Legacy Ridge at Brookstone and had a wonderful experience working with Mr. Hudie Langston during his time as Executive Director. He is incredibly passionate, knowledgeable, hardworking, and humble. I recall a time when we were without housekeeping for a few days due to illness. Without hesitation, Mr. Langston stepped out of his office, grabbed the housekeeping cart, and personally cleaned the community until the housekeeping team returned. My mother-in-law had been a resident at Legacy Ridge at Brookstone for over two years. She lived in independent living and then until she passed several months ago she was in the memory care area. I’ve personally gone to a great number of nursing homes and assisted living facilities providing patient care.I’ve been in a lot of facilities and I was always impressed with the staff’s personal care of residents and the facilities cleanliness. My parents moved into Legacy Ridge about 2 years ago. During their transition to assisted living, the staff could not have been more accommodating. The director, Langston, is a very good person, personally taking care of my parents’ needs along with his caring staff. I can’t say enough about how warm and family-like this little gem of a place is. I feel that my loved ones are SAFE, HAPPY, and CARED ABOUT. I am absolutely satisfied and grateful for our experience there and it’s wonderful people!

My Mom was a resident at this facility. From day one, the management, and every caregiver there was compassionate, caring, and concerned with her wellbeing. They are a well run facility with a well balanced staff for every need you will encounter.They helped us with every need and transition until my mom's passing. I would recommend them to anyone looking into a place for a love one.
