What a rough experience consigning items: First they changed the initial list price of an item the contract shortly we dropped it off (I’d rather not be promised a price if you need to research first). Second, we never got our check mailed to us for this same item within the 30 days per the contract and only found out it sold after we came and asked (45 days after it sold) and didn’t even get a true apology — just blaming a company that cuts the checks. DO NOT bring your furniture to this consignment place! My furniture was apparently sold in November of 2025, and we received no notice that it was sold. When we went into the store to check on our furniture pieces in December that is when they told us they had sold the furniture and that they had sent us a check for the proceeds, which we never received. I have contacted Legacy Consignments in Long Beach 3 times for reissuing the check, and am getting the run around from the manager Allen. He has given excuses why he can’t c... read more
