I have been using this bank close to 3 years. My main bank is Social Security Credit Union. I have a checking account at Legacy. I deposited a cashier’s check at Legacy for $2,000 to be deposited into my Social Security checking account. In my 71 years, all banks I have used recognize a cashier’s check as basically cash and there has never been a hold placed on these checks.
