I have been with Legacy since they were University Credit Union…probably over 40 years. Every branch that I have used has always been very helpful. I have currently been using the Alabaster branch since they opened that branch. I have to commend Jane who has been extremely helpful since my husband had cancer and passed away. She has really gone out of her way to assist me when needed. Everyone at the Alabaster branch that I have dealt with have been so friendly and willing to help out.

I have been using this bank close to 3 years. My main bank is Social Security Credit Union. I have a checking account at Legacy. I deposited a cashier’s check at Legacy for $2,000 to be deposited into my Social Security checking account. In my 71 years, all banks I have used recognize a cashier’s check as basically cash and there has never been a hold placed on these checks. The staff is always kind and courteous. They do a wonderful job. The manager has been more than helpful on several occasions. Would recommend using this credit union.
