Shortly after moving to Charlotte I had to find a daycare facility for my kids. Beware of the wait list system. I say this for two reasons. One, our oldest child was accepted into the school a week after we toured the school despite being told there was a long wait list - we happened to call and follow up and talk to the right person who bumped him ahead of the others on the wait list and he started the next week. Two, our two youngest have been on the wait list and each year I have called to follow up on their spots. We cannot say enough good things about LeafSpring Ballantyne. We were so sad when we moved out of state and had to leave LeafSpring. The entire staff and teachers provided a great experience and support especially for first time parents. The infant teachers and Ms Essence are one of a kind.
My 4 year old has attended two other schools/daycares prior to Leafspring & Leafspring is her favorite. Her teachers love her, and the staff, including those in the office and nurse. They take care of her, send updates on a daily basis, and make the kids feel seen, counted, loved, and listened to. We have not encountered a single teacher that didn't love her.
