This is a world-class, gourmet Belgian chocolatière of the highest order. Incredible array of delightful and unique flavor profiles, and there is always something new to try. The owner and artisan, Aarti, is kind, friendly, and personable, and a master of her craft. Highly recommended for anyone looking for the perfect gift for a chocolate lover, or if you need a quick treat to splurge on yourself.
I visited Le Rouge’s storefront location and was greeted by the most gracious, kind and welcoming woman who I am assuming is the owner as her knowledge and passion for chocolate was evident. The caramels were absolutely delicious and the dark chocolate was crafted and tempered to perfection. My sincerest thank you for the fantastic chocolates and wonderful conversation! 5 stars!!!
Decadent, delicious, and gorgeously crafted. We had the hazelnut and the rasberry chocolate truffle bars... Absolutely perfect. My husband and I walked in with our 2 year old around 7pm on a Friday night because we were desperately seeking a break from the relentless Merritt traffic on our way to visit our parents and hoped a small treat would make our ride less arduous. Aarti takes great care to meet the needs of her customers and is meticulous with her work. The chocolate mousse cake was rich and absolutely delicious! We loved the outcome!
