I rate Louis 10 star. He recovered 4 dining room chairs for me and did an excellent job. Louis was very prompt, professional, and a fun guy. He truly cares about his professional work and it shows. I totally enjoyed talking with him and I could tell he is very proud of his accomplishments and his past. I am so happy to have found him. I will request his work in the future. Luis is the best upholsterer on maui by far ! His shop recently moved to kihei and I highly recommend finding him if you are in need of anything to be made / remade , repaired .... this shop is extremely professional and the quality is top notch The shop works with many genres , cars boats , furniture clothing ... if your looking for the best This is the shop to go to . I strongly discourage anyone from using this upholstery shop. The quality of their work is extremely poor and far below what was promised. The finished product was sloppy, with little attention to detail, and it was clear that pride was not taken in the workmanship.
Great work! Transformed our old heirloom chair....perfect!.....and the materials to choose from were great, just what we needed....
I needed cushions for 2 rattan chairs reupholstered and the elastic bottom of the chairs tightened, a project I had put off for 5 years. Luis looked at my chairs the same day I called and gave me a very reasonable quote! Both chairs were completed with amazing craftsmanship within 4 days! It is obvious that he takes a lot of pride in his work. The fast turnaround time was wonderful and I am so happy to have found Luis! I now have someone I trust for any type of reupholstering project.
