What once was a great place to spend a fall day has gone extremely downhill. To start, you’ll have to spend $25 a piece to get in (this does not include the majority of activities that are available like picking a pumpkin, flowers, or food.) We spent over an hour and a half in line waiting for food. The food is terribly overpriced. They have a $13 cheeseburger combo which was a hockey puck with a hard slice of cheese over the top. I’ve been coming to this pumpkin patch for years, and this was by far the worst experience I’ve ever had. We paid $25 per person just for admission, only to spend most of our time standing in ridiculously long lines with a terrible system and poor service. We waited TWO HOURS in line at the concession stand just to get a cheeseburger. The worker was rude, they were completely out of condiments, and the burger itself was terrible. Worst pumpkin patch experience in the valley. Overpriced. Hours spent in lines. Dont even grow their own pumpkins, staff not that friendly, limited food options that you have to wait in line for over an hour for.

What started out as a great day at Layman's turned into a few disappointments. Seemed to be a lack of staff and signage. A 45 minute wait for concessions only to get a cheeseburger with charcuterie sized cheese a stale hard bun and no mayonnaise or toppings provided, except ketchup and Mustard. See photo attached. There was no staff at the bottom of the slide telling you to return your tubes back up, so my kids waited at the bottom for 10 minutes to get a tube only to have it taken away as they got to the top.
