One of the best little secrets in Denver – This is one of the oldest and best stores in Colorado. They are always reinventing themselves and the designers they carry. Coming to the store is a must because it is so beautiful.
Not all the designer they used to have – This was a great store 20 years ago but they do not carry many designer clothing anymore like Yohji, Margiela and Cavalli. MAX down the street has those lines now. Still a good place to buy an expensive Italian sweater for the winter season.
There's a reason this trendsetting clothier has been around for more than 30 years. – In Short Opened in 1967, Lawrence Covell was bringing European lines to Denver long before everyone else caught on. The staff here is knowledgeable and impeccably dressed. Located in a villa-styled shop in the heart of Denver's chic boutique district, the shop offers wardrobe consultation and personal shoppers, while boasting top-end lines at relativly low prices. Men's clothiers include Borrelli, Diesel, Malo and Paul Smith. Women's brands... read more

The sales staff are personable and friendly and eager to help you find just the right suit, sweater, or casual clothes for work. Everything from Etro to Paul Smith, from Kiton to Barbera. They do all their own buying. Enjoy the experience of buying clothes in a relaxed atmosphere--have an espresso or a glass of wine while trying on the sumptuous clothes. Styles and desi... read more
Sartorial excellence in Denver – I recently shopped at Lawrence Covell and was amazed by both the level of personal service and the phenomenal selection of clothing lines. Kiton, Etro, Borelli, Barbera, Paul Smith, John Lobb to name a few. A store with lines of that stature could easily intimidate shoppers, but the experience at LC will put you at ease. I didn't feel pressure while browsing but when I did decide to try something on, the excellent staff helped me choose a piece that truly enhanced my wardrobe. The interaction... read more
Been there, done that. NO THANKS! – I visited the store recently. The selection wasn't much impressive especially in ladies department but the most shocking thing was that i was treated rudely by an older lady which i found later was the owner's wife. I guess i didn't want to believe the rumors and wanted to check it out for myself. I wish i didn't! I will never go back to this store again. I don't have to deal with neurotic, arrogant, customer service clueless people. There are lot of great shops in Cherry Creek and in Denv... read more
The ultimate in Denver – I've been treated like the prime minister in the Michelin 3-star restaurants in London and Paris when I wear my made to measure suits and shirts from Covell. Believe me, the maitre d's appreciate stylish clients. No other place in town--not Andrisen Morton or Neiman Marcus--really have the right nuance of European styling like Lawrence Covell does. If you can afford the best, this is the only place between Chicago and LA to shop. Why go there Covell rates as the top anywhere.
Lawrence Covell has a 4.4 star rating with 29 reviews.
Lawrence Covell is open now. It will close at 6:00 p.m.
