I was in the United States in April 2024 and needed to download a legal document from LawDepot. What I didn’t realize was that I had signed up for a monthly subscription fee of $39, which continued to be charged until April 2025, when I cancelled my credit card for an unrelated reason. Buyer beware!! Predatory Subscription Practices! Buyer beware! Don't forget to cancel your subscription and keep proof! They do not send out receipts each time they charge you for their subscription, this makes it easy to forget about. Fraud company , run as fast as you can
This is a scam. They claim they're entitled to keep taking your money ETERNALLY, if you don't cancel within the trial period. THAT IS A LIE. It is a fraud. 1) Report them to the Better Business Bureau and the Consumer Affairs office in your state. 2) File a police report if your state prosecutes consumer fraud AND 3) *SUE them for fraud, for violating the DECEPTIVE TRADE PRACTICES laws in your state.
