I was so fortunate to find the NY Elder Law Group. My father is homebound and has dementia as well as other underlying medical issues. I requested an increase in hours from his insurance company only to receive denial after denial after denial. Until they finally increased his 7 hour shift to 8 hours and 8 hours increased to 12 hours, of which they told me they could not increase his hours any more because he reached his maximum amount of hours. Lori Somekh was absolutely incredible in helping us with my 88-year-old mom, Grace. She walked us through all of the options my mom has as she gets older with so much care, patience, and expertise.
