I contacted Lori and set up a meeting to help my stubborn parents start putting their affairs in order. She answered all of their questions and made things very easy for them to understand the importance of being prepared. She put their minds at ease and helped them put together everything (will, healthcare proxy, family trust, power of attorney) to avoid a mess down the road. I don't know what I would have done without them.
I was so fortunate to find the NY Elder Law Group. My father is homebound and has dementia as well as other underlying medical issues. I requested an increase in hours from his insurance company only to receive denial after denial after denial.
