I retained him 17 months ago. A lot of stuff is promised up front. He sounds very knowledgeable. But once I paid the retainer everything sort of fell back. We do a hour long phone call to get a baseline for the case. Guess what? He forgets to record it so he has no notes. But he charges be $500 for it. Then asked me every time after that to re-explain myself because he did not have the notes. So I get charged about another $1,000 for all the misunderstanding after this.
