First time in court and I felt like I was in great hands
I did an intake consultation at Mike Childress’s office, where I spoke with Rick Mitchell about a prenuptial agreement. He told me I could pursue a prenup and that I would not need to state a reason for wanting a divorce. He said he would send me a sample fee agreement to review. When it arrived, it was a blank template — no names, no case details, and no mention of the fee amount we had discussed. My wife's niece used this office as her divorce lawyer. They were useless. The original lawyer was non-responsive, but niece kept getting billed, they slow walked everything...then replaced the original lawyer who had very poor communication skills. Eventually went to another law office, must better assistance. A lot of money wasted on the Childress folks...even wanted to charge for discussing the bill!
