I hired Courtland Shafer and, in my experience, he is a very disorganized lawyer. He fails to communicate to his client about the motions that were filed by the opposition and very shockingly will not even respond to those motions completely neglecting his client. He won’t even forward critical emails and when confronted about why he failed to forward those emails, then he would brush them off by saying there were too many emails to deal with. I would not hire this law firm or Courtland Shafer. I have experience hiring numerous attorneys in the past and I hired Courtland Shafer for several matters. Hiring Courtland Shafer was the biggest mistake, ever. In my view, he is grossly incompetent and cares only about his interest. He was a miserable attorney. He even breached my attorney client privilege. I cannot emphasize how awful of a job I believe Courtland Shafer did on the cases that I hired him for. I would give him 0 out of 5 stars if that was a possibility.
