I was in El Paso County Jail without bail for a federal "misdemeanor" that I absolutely did not commit. I was living in Juarez and upon returning to the US on the morning of October 31, 2022... I was falsely accused of assaulting a Customs and Border Patrol officer. Damian Rasmussen told me off for leaving one message and text on a Sunday (father’s day) before his client went to trial that following Tuesday. He told me that I am the “straw that broke the camel's back” for disturbing his weekend and for being “unprofessional”. As I tried to apologize, he told me that he didn't want my apology, and that he never wants texts or messages outside of work hours.
