Not a good experience. Who takes a case knowing they will not be able to take it to trial? Yes, she did. Accepted my case and later disclosed to me, approximately 4 months later, that she would not be able to take the case to trial as needed. No face to face ever offered to me as her client, only telephonic, text message, and email. Who does that? Communicated mostly with paralegals. From my experience, she talks a good game in the beginning, but often allows opposing counsel to overwhelm her client with frivolous requests. ... read more
Declined to take my case due to it "not being the type of case she's covering right now". I suspect it was more due to me being covered be legal insurance and less due to my type of case seeing as it's a generic divorce situation. A quick Google search will return many results of attorneys turning down cases with legal insurance due to less per hour.
