The orphans court appointed Rudy Carrico, Jr as Personal Representative to handle my husband’s estate in May 2024. I knew he would be a problem from the initial phone call. First of all he asked me ( the widow) how I would like for him to handle my husband’s estate. My response was “ haven’t you handled these cases before? My wife and I needed used Mr. Carrico to represent us in court on a personal matter. We were well informed. When filings needed to be made, they were timely. We were also advised on what filings we needed and options for the filings. Nothing but high marks for this attorney.
I called for help or I wouldn’t have called at all. I was explaining my situation and was not treated with care or compassion. It was a very rude interaction where I was told I should call someone else after mentioning I had and was waiting on a call back. He interrupted me and I didn’t feel like I was even being heard. He told me he wouldn’t take my case and I should call the other attorney and that since someone told me I was an heir I “should look into it.” That was the whole point of the call.
