Peter Hoffman is an excellent education attorney. If you have a child with a disability and have had problems with your school district, he is the person to call. He knows education and he knows how to help you and your family. As a collegue, in the field of education, and as a grandmother of a child with a disability who needed his help, I recommend him without reservation Thank you, Peter… So glad you are there for us.
He asked if I was available to meet over the weekend, I said yes. The next day, he emails me saying he is online. I emailed him back 10 minutes later asking if I could summarize my situation over email. He responds by saying he will not take my case because I kept him waiting on Zoom for 15 minutes. Apparently, he believed that he sent me an email last night of the Zoom link, but I never received it. He is extremely rude and I would avoid him.
We can't say enough great things about Mr. Hoffman. We contacted Mr. Hoffman when we started receiving excessive push back from our school district for our son's educational needs. He was compassionate and helped us to navigate a very difficult situation. He actively advised us on actions from general communication through navigating the situation in the big picture. In short, we could not have achieved success without the advice and support of Mr. Hoffman.
I consulted with Peter for a personal matter, and I was impressed by the level of professionalism, knowledge, and approachability all packaged into the initial conversation. Expectations and a roadmap were clearly articulated, and his office (Toni) timely and professionally forwarded the appropriate paperwork.
