This is a one "man" show law firm now. No partners, no associates or even an office staff. They have all presumably headed for greener pastures. A firm, or even a stand alone attorney, that cannot afford a secretary should have been the first warning sign that I needed to search for a different attorney. I cannot say enough about Karen Johnson and her team. We had such a complicated situation in which my parents had left their affairs in kind of a mess. Karen created a plan - a roadmap that helped us to care for them while they were with us and to preserve what they had earned after they were gone so that our kids could benefit. She was truly brilliant and her team was always patient and available as we navigated the quagmire of Medicaid. Ms. Johnson was my attorney who helped navigate a complicated claims against my parents, Estate. Although it may sound trite, we couldn't have done it without her.
