For me was a loss of money
I've worked with Layne in the past while she was getting her DUIs and I can say in my experience she's a mediocre lawyer who I honestly would not hire given the choice. Try to find someone better if you can if it is an important matter. She also looks down on clients as seen in her response to this review. Also, this was actually a polite and even generous review. She does not have a great reputation. Update: she was also found to have made an "ill-informed and unwise" trial decision in Lefebvre v. RI (2024)
