Mr Mills represented someone close to me who was accused of absolutely heinous and astonishing acts. Mr Mills was confident early on that his client was innocent of all charges (after a brief review of the facts, evidence and inconsistent accounts by the accusing party). This was the 1st time the defendant had ever had any interaction with police or the legal system and was rightfully scared out of his mind. Great communicator, puts your mind at ease with facts, and doesn’t let you feel like you’re taking on the process alone. Highly recommend!
Would give zero stars if I could. Absolutely no communication after initial call where he accepted my simple traffic ticket case. Total silence, finally receive an email two months later with a link (that didn’t work) saying to pay the ticket. Numerous followup emails and calls were sent to him with no response.
Prolongs cases with juveniles to over a year. Never shows up to any of his court cases. He does not answer his phone or return phone calls. Especially for Financially poor individuals. They have rights, And when giving paperwork that says they have rights to a speedy trial and it doesn’t happen. What do you do then ? who do you call to get some answers?
