I am an attorney and accompanied Jason on a deposition in a high conflict divorce case. He absolutely mopped the floor with the spouse against his client. He knows what he is doing and kicked butt for his client, my friend. Best lawyer around with an amazing talent coupled with 100% loyalty to his clients.
Do not trust Jason Shackelford. He took a case of mine 7 years ago in 2018. I paid his fee upfront. Months later he claimed my charges were never filed. Then 7 years later I was arrested for a warrant from the exact charges he said were never filed. I reached out to him after being arrested. He just wanted to play stupid then wanted more money to look into it. Ultimately he ghosted me after a few calls and texts. I wish there was a lower rating... took our money and then doesn't answer phone calls, emails, texts, etc then takes months to even get started on our case. Then when we finally get a competent lawyer it takes her about 4 months to fix everything he screwed up and our case is complete. He did 6 months worth of NOTHING. Worst lawyer he does not care about ur best intentions just wants ur money and to be done asap he fumbled my family civil case and was terrible with communication even paid for a consultation and he didn’t even give me an hour!!! Do not use this law office trust me you are better off elsewhere!!! Learn from my mistakes thanks for being utterly useless and giving me terrible council. Worst $3000 I’ve ever spent.
Did not fight more me on my criminal case, pressured me into accepting a terrible deal just to get my case over with. I was dealing with negative judgement and condescending behavior from him the whole time. He is inclined to act favorably towards conservative judges, and to act negatively to anyone who doesn’t conform to his way of thinking/morals.. Not to mention, he only took my case so he could try and screw my mom, and to take my money. If you are lgbtq+, stay far away from this hateful man.
