I wouldn't say anything to these people unless you want everyone involved in your case to know what you're telling your attorney in confidence. Also, I had a court appearance in a very important guardianship case, and my attorney didn't inform me until two hours before the hearing (which is illegal). Apparently, they went ahead with my case without me even being there.
He did help me out with a couple of things, and that I am thankful for. But he contacted me later, about a lawsuit that he thought I had in my favor, against a certain company, for what they did to me. After I agreed and gathered information for him, he never returned any calls or emails. Anytime I call the office it is an answering machine. Very disappointing, because I had faith in what he could have done.
In my experience, Benjamin Gibson is a great attorney in the court room! Ben knows the law, and in the courtroom he stands up for the law and your civil rights, which is something I have never seen in this District. Very easy to talk to ,, with that being said, he lacks being informative on court dates waits till last min on many thing's ,my hope is i never need a lawyer again , i)-: recommend him to my aunt, wish I would have just kept quiet when she asked if I knew a good attorney in the area..
