Attorney Andrew Couture was sued by a former client, and on February 10, 2025, in the Fitchburg District Court, a JURY found Couture GUILTY of two (2) Counts of Fraud by Mis-Appropriation, for mis-appropriating the entirety of his client's retainers - twice - and two (20 Counts of Fraud by issuing false invoices to cover up his mis-appropriation. Andrew was very helpful over a very long period when a friend had a "deadbeat tenant" and navigated the confusing and perplexing system which -- in this state, sadly -- does not favor responsible landlords; instead siding with tenants. Had we not gotten Andrew's Law Office involved, I shudder to think of how much longer this nightmare would have continued.
After my initial interview with Andrew J. Couture, it was unquestionable that he was the man for the job. Other attorneys painted a grim picture of my legal outcome, but Not Andrew. Attorney Couture took out money and did no work on his case. We haver reported him to the Massachusetts Board of Bar Overseers, and he is under their investigation for negligence, incompetence, and fraud. You have been warned.
