Impossible to find no signage out. Front finally found the place in the office. Space or area was totally empty cleaned out nobody was there. What a waste of time.
I called to see if I needed an appointment to get a dress altered. She said she only works on gowns and that I should call a local tailor. I guess her business model has changed? Just a heads up for anyone else looking to get tailoring done!
Amazing work! Barbara worked on a no so easy dress and it came out more than I could have imagined! She started with vintage fabric I picked out and helped turn it into an amazing wedding dress and matching tie. I would recommend her services to anyone needing alterations or seamstress. Thank you so much for all the great work! We were so happy with the outcome.
Barbara is beyond talented with her dressmaking and making changes to existing gowns that may be too small or too large. She took a Vera wang gown that would not zip up in the back and made a beautiful satin waist band for the dress. She was able to make the dress larger by adding satin and working it right into the design of the dress. One would never know that it was not the original dress. My husband and I lucked out by getting to work with Barb. My dress was expensive, and I knew I needed someone who is highly skilled. I spent hours scouring reviews of all of the seamstresses within a 50 mile radius. I ended up calling only TWO - one was Barb, and the other was in Boston.
