Today I came to the gym for another workout, but when I tried to enter, I was not allowed in by a Chinese-looking employee (I didn’t see her badge and I don’t know her name), I went to the reception, we had a conversation. I've been going to the ymca for almost 2 years now but since those 2 years there has always been a worker (chris) that targets my group of friends, my friends and I play manhunt every time we go to the ymca and he's the only one that every gets mad at us. We're chill with all the other workers, he also targets us by watching the cameras on only where we are, and he had the audacity to GRAB our personal equipment not once,but TWICE! i got my member ship suspended for running for like 5 second's. the staff targets me and my friends, they watch only my friends on the camaras. i do not recommend coming here. i feel like i was targeted.
This is a decent gym, the staff is very friendly and helpful. The gym is also quite clean. But it would be nice to see an updated leg press machine on the second floor. A plate loaded Hack Squat or Power Squat would be great additions for leg day along with a plate loaded hip thrust machine. The hours on the weekends are kind of short. I do wish they opened earlier all 7 days.
