I’m coming here to share my story and to warn others that Laurie Smoker is a scammer. Back in September I booked Laurie for a session for this upcoming June for my daughter’s senior photos. I explained to her we were coming from another state and renting a place for us to have these pictures taken. Laurie was accommodating to the date and time I was looking for. My sister booked Laurie as her wedding photographer and ghosted and refused to give my sister her wedding pictures. After multiple calls, messages, and DMs Laurie still wouldn’t give her the photos almost a year later after my sister had already paid. A lawyer had to get involved and she eventually got her photos. It’s beyond me what type of human would hold back precious and once in a lifetime photos for no good reason. Do not book with her.
