I had the opportunity to join Lauri on one of her private photo tours of Chicago. Before the tour, she took the time to set up a phone call to understand my photographic interests and customize the experience accordingly. Just the type of tour I wanted. Easy going, good discussion. Laurie had a great route planned based on my specified interests, the Rookery was great! The time spent at any one placed was however long I wanted, no pressure to keep to a timetable. Highly recommended if you want a tour at your pace with a friendly and accomplished guide.
My tour with Lauri was good. She showed me areas around downtown Chicago that I was unfamiliar with. Having a consultation prior to meeting enabled her to understand what kind of images I was looking for.
In October, 2024 I was fortunate to enjoy a Solo Photo Tour for four days in Chicago with Lauri Novak. She is a wonderful guide and instructor. She crafted the days to my interests and led the way at my (slow) pace to all of the amazing sites in the Loop area. It was fun and I look forward to working on my many interesting images for a long time. I highly recommend Lauri.
We just got back from 5 days in Chicago and took part in Lauri's SEE! Chicago tour. I'm a photographer and I wanted to get an expert's view of Chicago, so I had signed up. Lauri guided our small group to some great landmarks and other wonderful photo worthy subjects. She was simply amazing, friendly, and very welcoming to everyone. I'd recommend her tour of Chicago to anyone interested in photography. So awesome!
