Always have the best time performing for the residents. One of our favorite places to play. Everyone is always so sweet and happy to see us.
I had written a very negative review of Laurel Lodge several weeks ago due to my loved one not receiving care in proportion to the almost $6000 monthly cost we are paying. There is now a new Executive Director, and I am definitely seeing positive changes in the facility. As per a previous reviewer's request, I want to give the new ED time and space to turn things around so I have deleted my previous one star review and replaced it with a three star rating. We are new to this ALF and we are so pleased. Becky Bowman has been wonderful in assisting us with getting our loved one settled into her new home! We are so thankful for her and the staff that we’ve met so far!
Laurel Lodge has been an answer to my prayers! My mother needed a new facility closer to my home in Gainesville. Called in and spoke with Becky Bowman. From our first conversation she made me feel like family. Took the time to explain all the steps needed to make her transition smooth. Help me set up every aspect in a timely and caring manner. Hang in there residents and families of Laurel Lodge. I know there are a lot of issues with the facility as far as care and management. My mother has been in memory care there since June and I’ve had my fair share of problems. BUT, I can confidently and honestly tell you it will get better.
