Scoring only a one since there is no lower rating. Yes, they have good equipment and bikes. However, there repair shop is terrible. I took a new bike in for a shift adjustment. When I picked it up there was a long deep gouge in the frame that was NOT there when it was dropped off. They lied about it and denied doing any damage. IF YOU CARE ABOUT YOUR BIKE DO NOT GO HERE!
RecommendedI’ve shopped their a few times in the last few years (when I need bike things) and I’ve always had a fantastic experience. 2 years ago I had them refurbish an old bike I found at a thrift store... and now I have a bag, a rack, new tires, new brakes. I bought a bike pump from them at the beginning of this summer, too. Tonight I saw that my tires were getting low, so I got my trusty new bike pump out only to see that there were no instructions. I found the bike I wanted online, and saw it was available at this shop. Called first thing in the morning a bit before they opened expecting to leave a message but Greg answered and we handled the transaction over the phone. The bike needed to be built still and they had it done for me by lunch time, and they installed my new pedals as well. Super friendly, helpful, knowledgeable, and accommodating. Highly recommend! Shout out to Latitude 45 bicycle and fitness in Petoskey for taking care of me and my Tubbs. Bought these 8-9 years ago and use them 3-5 times a week during the winter. This week my strap broke and Latitude 45 had me up and snowshoeing within minutes. Exceptional product, people, and service!
I usually don't write a post - in fact- this is my first one. But I have to commend all the staff there at Latitude 45 especially Jake Keyser who serviced my bike so efficiently. A cable broke on my bike and within 20 minutes I was back riding with my group. Thank you for saving my trip. You guys are the best!!
