This is unlike any experience I’ve ever had with getting fit for a pair of boots. Lathrop and Sons are on another level when it comes to designing and fitting you with the proper boot. I just received my custom fit pair of Mountain Hunters and I’m currently going through the break in period which was explained to me very thoroughly after discussing how my boot fit. So far I’m very pleased with my purchase. I will follow up when I put these bad boys to use chasing some thunder chickens. TREAD HEAVY!
I just got my new custom pair of boots. I was probably like everyone else about a custom pair of boots especially the cost. Stephen worked with me from start to finish and everything went smoothly. The service was truly outstanding. He got to know me and wanted to know what type of hunting i did so that I was in the right boot. Once I got them they were a perfect fit. Lathrop and Sons went above and beyond. James helped me and stood behind their product 100%. It's very difficult to get my boots to fit perfect and make me happy. Always has been. I have mutliple barely worn boots in my closet. James went out of his way to make me happy. I have tried all the name brands and decided to go with a custom boot. In the end...I am very satisfied with the boots that James has set up for me . He worked very hard and never made any excuses. Thanks James I appreciate the effort.
It’s really hard to know where to start… from the onset, L&S has went above and beyond to help me build my custom boots! And the finished product is simply spectacular! It’s like jumping behind the wheel of a Porsche and after driving a covered wagon. I will sing the praises of L&S anytime someone asks me what boots to buy! Just Amazing!
kind of a scammy, rip-off place. super rude on the phone as well when i told them the rebranded boots and their house brand insoles were not working good. the insoles are just flat pieces of gel, nothing special. they claim a money back guarentee but in reality they are not going to honor that. they made me eat the cost of the useless insoles, which was like a 100+$. go to REI, you get some decent help and you can return the boots with no problem for a year. after the fiasco with this place, i bought some kennetreks, which w... read more
