Horrible. Absolutely Horrible! I retained this lawyer in mid February 2018 to draft a motion and deliver to court system to reduce child support. This was based on Ex's change in pay and to remove a graduating son in June of 2018. As of early June 2018 (3months), no actionable progress has been completed. I would email and call, only to have delays and excuses. First the assistant was in hospital, then the lawyer was in the hospital. No call backs from my phone calls, no emails returned. Kayla gave me the outcome I was looking for during my divorce. I would recommend her to everyone.
Gave Kayla the required retainer and she did NOTHING on my case. She never returned my calls and didn't fight for me in my divorce. Kayla had every excuse in the book why things were never done on time. DON'T hire her!!!
STAY AWAY!!! Read the referenced court ruling which details how Attorney Laswell overcharged clients, filed mistake-ridden bankruptcy schedules, filed an erroneous Rule 2016(b) disclosure statement and was ordered by the court to refund her client s fee.
