Service is great but kitchen very hit and miss. From delicious meals to undercooked steaks and schnitzels, it’s a bit of a lottery especially when they are busy.
Usually good food here, steak was undercooked and garlic sauce was flavourless
Menus change, we get it! As locals who have been going to the Lapo for years, we understand venues are dealing with the same cost-of-living nightmare as everyone else… but the new menu is a little heartbreaking. We moved up from Sydney and struggled to find a local pub serving genuinely GOOD food, so when we found the Lapo it quickly became our regular because the food always tasted fresh and a step above standard pub food and even local restaurant food! Fantastic pub great service and great food we had 25 of us today and we were very look after, the staff were very friendly and very helpful, almost like a old country pub, great value for money, would go back in a flash thank you very much for looking after us today 10 out of 10
