We've gone to LSO family events at the library, chamber events in a more intimate chapel setting, and concerts at the Wharton Center and are continually impressed with the variety of offerings they have. Love how family friendly they are; my 4 year old is a frequent audience member and going to orchestra events is something we've grown to love doing as a family!
Saw LSO at Wharton this weekend. Totally worth it. I only knew one song in the program ahead of time, but it didn't matter. The show notes + watching the orchestra were more than enough to get into it. Highly recommend. It's a classy date. Well, as classy as you want. We dressed business casual, other people were dressed to the nines, no worries.
