I'm an operator, the owner of the truck I drive for is a cool guy. I like working for him but Landstar is a different aspect. I know they charge owners 30% on every load, but for premits? If you add how many loads you do a week times four in a month. That's a lot of money! For renting, using, they're trailers? Some of the trailers are so old the landing gear is hard, and the trailer tandems to unlock and slide them have the medal pull bar instead of the pull out button...Tires? They use recaps.
