Opening an account took 3 hours of my life. The result was as follows: no access to online banking and a debit card that doesn't work. If you go there in person, it will just so happen that the banking officer will be on a ten-minute break. If you wait ten minutes nobody will show up. If you ask the cashier when the banking officer is coming back she will say "no idea". Reviewing this location because it is the headquarters. Landmark national Bank takes forever to finalize a charge. Any transaction is going to be pending for at least a week and mobile banking does not work whatsoever. Do not even attempt mobile banking, it's horrible and takes way longer than going in person which also takes forever.
I've banked Landmark for 25 years. The Manhattan branches are the best ones.
I had a problem with identity theft, and went into the lobby and Miles McPherson took over my case and handled it very professionally for me. He even explained how he could help me get a special service that could pay all my bills through my bank account and he told me to come back in and he would walk me through it. I really appreciate his courtesy and his helpfulness. He was a good employee
The bank manager, Luis Leggateta, went above and beyond in helping to resolve a fraud issue for my mother. He was kind, extremely helpful and supportive throughout and his exemplary customer service is a credit to our community.
