Disappointing - no swimming pool and agreed refund has not been given. We booked to stay at Lydden cottage 15th-19th January. My children were very excited for the indoor swimming pool, which was a big factor in deciding to stay here in the winter. When we arrived we were told that the pool was out of action due to a broken boiler, but were not forewarned about this. Caroline and the team do an amazing job, making you feel welcome and comfortable right from the moment you arrive. The lodges are spacious, well appointed and comfortable. Ours was perfect for bringing our elderly Collie and (slightly) younger Romy Rescue on holiday and using it as a central base to do day excursions around the beautiful county of Dorset.
