We approached Lance Lawson for legal advice regarding an employment dispute issue. After >$6,000 spent (15 hours of solicitor time) the advice we received was essentially "Yes we think you have a case and we recommend that we send a letter on your behalf, the quote for the letter is $4,800-$6,500". Without question, this has been the most frustrating and disappointing experience I have ever had with a law firm. What should have been a straightforward estate administration process has instead been characterised by prolonged delays, shifting explanations, poor communication, and a complete lack of accountability. I would not recommend. Hannah is very unprofessional, shes fresh out of law school. What would she know abt family law? She doesnt have a family or kids. She couldnt relate to anybody in family law.
Definitely would not recommend. We used them for conveyancing and had a number of issues with the house. We were left feeling they were either not on our side (more so just agreeing with the vendors), very incompetent or just didn't care. They left out floor leveling (re-piling) on the vendors to-do list, we had to chase up things that a lawyer probably should, and there was no money held back after settlement in-case of house issues (even after they said they would hold back money). Going through a divorce is hell, however you look at it. Gina Oudyn has been a wonderful companion who guided me with empathy and understanding through a difficult time. Highly recommend.
