Do not rent any venues from the City of Lancaster! The wood tables are busted & the chairs are EXTREMELY nasty and dirty...Customer Service is Horrible as well, they will not explain their contract fully for your understanding. I believe to keep deposits (they kept mines) However I had problems from the beginning considering I trust their equipment was up to par. I had already sent my invites out and couldn't remember who I sent them too in order for me to cancel...."ENTER AT YOUR OWN RISK"
The Community House is a nice place as far as the building and location, but The tables and chairs need to be replaced, IT'S TIME. I have been renting this place for over 10 years, 2 to 3 times a year. So, I know they have the funds to do the improvements. I have rented 2 times so far this year, hopefully the next time things will have changed ( 1 more rental before 2019). PRAYING Thanks in advance, Community House.
NASTY NASTY CHAIRS AND THE TABLES WERE TORN , WE HAD TO GET THE TABLES OUT THE CLOSET AND PUT THEM BACK UP IN THE CLOSET WHEN WE FINISHED SORRY SORRY SERVICE
Had wedding reception here. It was a great venue.
