It is well worth the trip to the little town of Conestoga to go to and see the Lancaster Cast Iron shop. The staff is very friendly and super helpful. they have a large selection of their products in a very nice display. They also have a display of how they make there products and what make theirs different and better then their competition. I am vey happy with my purchase and look forward to many years of use from it.
The products, beyond the beautiful style choices, are intentionally designed, and extremely functional. Added a few pieces to our collection today. Looking forward to using them!
We purchased the #6 skillet and we are so pleased. As soon as we opened the box, it was clear that the quality of this skillet was superb. The craftsmanship is beyond anything you could purchase from a big box store, or elsewhere. Most skillets and Dutch ovens these days are manufactured in China or abroad, even brands you would think are high quality. I love knowing that these skillets are truly made in the USA by a quality company like Lancaster Cast Iron.
Fantastic shop! Picked up a lightweight cast-iron pan that I’m already obsessed with. The owner is wonderful—so helpful with tips and even kept the husbands entertained so we could shop in peace. 10/10 service and product! Highly recommend.
