I highly recommend going the Lamps Plus in Rancho Mirage if you live locally in the Palm Springs, CA area. Their customer service is excellent! I was greeted immediately by Paola who directed me to the lamps that I was interested in purchasing. She then gave me space to make my decision with absolutely no pressure. I eventually bought two droplet lamps, which Paola helped me with. One had a custom shade that she located in their system with no issue.
