Love this place, need one in the SE Suburbs.
$10 for a single cookie is criminal, it should be $20 they were that good. I felt like going back and throwing another $10 bill at the lady and saying "why are you under charging us for this delicacy?" The $10 cookie fixed my relationship with God.
Just been to La Manna in Essendon fields for the first time. Very disappointed actually. Is basically an Australian supermarket, I have a lot more choice of Italian products at Mediterraneo Wholesaler or even Saccas for a lower price as well.
Fruit and vegetables are a class above many. As such pricing is justified for quality. All other products, packaged goods, Fridge goods, Goods on shelves, bakery are all excessively EXPENSIVE. If one spends $300 weekly in a Coles or Woolworths sprmkt, here one surely need to spend $500 or more for the same items. I am NOT complaining. Just stating the obvious.
