Ive worked for Lama off and on over the years and have major issues with the owner, who inevitably came up with any reason he could to take a few paychecks from me in the end. He exerts maximum control over every detail of work, and won't allow you to make a safety related decisions when it comes to stopping (black ice, winter driving etc.) I would caution anyone from driving for these guys, there's much better choices out there even in a difficult market, these guys are always hiring for a reason. Lama trucking: a company that exists physically, run by people with a high level of professionalism and responsibility where you will be personally attended to by its owners and all their staff in the most correct and cordial manner. If you are a hard-working and responsible person, I think you will have a place there. I have been with them for five years and it is my personal experience.
