My mother went to this establishment recently and has been very disappointed. We have paid a great deal of money for promises that have not been met. The food is terrible . The treatment of some elderly residents are unacceptable. We are now looking elsewhere and will take our loses. good luck for anyone left
This retirement home was built over 30 years ago and -- like many of its residents -- is definitely "Over the Hill". I have lived at the Clairmont less than a year and hardly a week goes by without a "maintenance crisis".i.e a broken clothes dryer in a communal laundry room took over 2 months to repair. Mold/mildew in two rooms that we saw, rooms are in terrible condition, few residents smile (most look lethargic), huge turnover in staff, manager's office is stacked with boxes & is dirty, beauty salon operator seem very nice, van was broken down & resident said she had to cancel her doctor's appointment, dark atmosphere except for dining area. Jordan Oaks didn't make the list

Vista de la Montana of Surprise, Arizona fraudulently perpetrates abuse of seniors. The management lures frail and gullible elderly and disabled persons into signing up with the promise of receiving over $1000 per month of VA benefits. Then they hold you hostage and tell you that you cannot move away from this awful place (even though you are on a month-to-month lease) until you receive an answer from the VA (which is often 8-12 months), effectively coercing you to stay a resident way longer than is wanted.
