My dad was a recent resident of Lakeview Lodge, and my mom still resides there. After my father’s recent passing, our family would like to express our heartfelt gratitude to the incredible staff for their unwavering support and compassionate care of my parents. I want to thank the staff at Lakeview Lodge for their kindness, patience, and care they provided to my late father during his time with them (6 years). The dignity and respect they provided on a daily basis, and particularly during his last days, is recognized and truly appreciated. The staff became more like family, getting to know my dad in addition to myself, my kids, and our out of town family. Hi, I cannot say enough good things about my time spent with my dying mother on Halls. I had a rare opportunity to sit in the corner ‘sometimes’ unseen. I got to witness firsthand the care and compassion given to my mother by all these women. I wish I could remember their names. Some didn’t know I was in the room and it was a gift to watch what I would call doing above and beyond their jobs. These women really care. Management and staff have gone out of their way to care for my resident family member since she moved in last year. During a recent wildfire in Osoyoos the staff at Lakeview carefully cared for an extra 85 elderly evacuees on a moment's notice. This operation was carried out with almost military like precision and excellence. Staff were called in on short notice and worked above and beyond.
